Common Nalanda terms, defined.
Terms
- Course - the authored unit: outline, slides, notes, MCQs, theme, and downloadable tools.
- Slide / page - one screen of content, with a title, body, instructor notes, and media.
- Concept - a group of contiguous slides that teach one idea; MCQs are generated per concept.
- Presentation model - the structure a course is built to (Minto, Gagne, and 11 more).
- Session - one live run of a course. States: scheduled, lobby, live, ended.
- Seat - a participant's place in a session, with a mode (in-class or remote) and a score.
- Push - sending a question (or a whole test) to the live room.
- Reveal - showing the correct answer and its reason after a question closes.
- Ceremony - the instructor-paced end sequence: reveal each answer, name the correct answerers, then the podium.
- Assessment report - the per-participant and group metrics produced when a session ends.
